I have been making my way (slowly it seems) through avalanche after avalanche of produce, making preserves as though it were my only hope of survival this winter.

Lately, I have been making apple butter, applesauce and apple crisp galore.

I have pears, peppers and tomatoes next...

Just came over from BurdaStyle. Cute blouses, yummy recipes, and nice photos! I have to say that apple butter and apple sauce sounds so good, especially now that it's fall. Where I'm living apples are expensive and I don't have a lot of space to grow things. :-(
