I woke up this morning to see a whirling winter wonderland outside the window.
It has been colder than is typical of this time of year. The temps. usually range between 30-55 degrees, yesterday morning at breakfast time it was 3 degrees.
Thanks so much for the compliment, Yes, there are two barns in the yard: A very large, very old one that I, my sisters, and cousins all played in, risking life and limb, and another smaller brick barn recently built by my Dad, to house our garden tools, and whatnot. I ran and grabbed my camera as fast as I could that morning to get the best shot. It is actually our second snow, but this time the flakes were huge, and perfect to capture. My Dad has been a photographer for a while now and has some stunning black and white photo's of an ice storms and frost. If we have any ice storms or blizzards, I'll definately take more pics and post.
I'm an almost 21, art+craft addict,
I love paris couture, british culture, inventing recipes, hunting for treasure at thrift shops and flea markets, to wrap gifts beautifully, and collect things with flowers on them...

Those are some of the most beautiful pictures I've seen this season! Do you really have a red barn? Just like the books I remember from my childhood!
